Well just got word from the dealer that my 10/10 scheduled GLE was actually produced 10/04 and is on a train heading my way.
The VIN works on mbdecoder.com - I guess based on mine and a few other cases here, the curse has been lifted!

Production Status Codes defined
Anyone know the definitions for Production Status B2, B3, B4? On my order under ETA it is followed by the decade planned for the month i.e. B2-11.3 which I think is 3rd decade November ,but what does each of the codes B2, B3 B4 mean?

For mine which was produced on 10/01 (and is on the train since 10/04), the VIN still doesn't work on mbdecoder.com... Should I be concerned? :P Guess I'll find out in the next couple of days.

B3-X10 is basically a wait status until your car goes into production based on the decade planned. I ordered mine in early April, by the end of the month it went into that status where no changes to the configuration were allowed. Mine was scheduled for 3rd decade of August and that's when it changed into B4 status - where production began. So it sat in B3-X10 status from April end to almost 4th week of August. Once it goes in prod, depending on where you are, you can get the car in 2-3 weeks. Mine was delivered first week of Sep. Hope this helps.

Yours is probably one of the unfortunate ones that sat in the lot waiting for parts, which is a separate issue. But yes, MB could be more forthcoming with info which has been a complaint that we have all beaten to death.

Arrived in Austin! GLE 450 with E:ABC
Received an update yesterday, October 2. Car has been built and left the Vehicle Processing Center and is "ready" for transport to Austin, TX. Very strange, given it was not scheduled to be built until October 10... Dealer has ordered a spoiler and will paint it at the dealer and install when car comes in. SA thought it would be in as early as this weekend. Will update when/if car comes in.

2020 Mercedes 450 with E:ABC arrived at the dealer last night, October 9, 2019 (ordered June 18, 2019). Will pick up tomorrow, Friday, October 11 or Saturday with the spoiler painted and installed. Wasn't scheduled to be built by factory until today, October 10. Asked that the dealer certify that all 6 recalls have been addressed before picking up. Will provide pictures after we pick it up.

AFAIK, not positively until the final steps: B5A Production completed, D50 Released to carrier, F10 Wholesaled, S40 Loaded on rail (truck) & B60 Factory invoiced.

As of today 10/11/19 status it’s still B4....getting ready to cancel and move on...!!!! MB has really let me down....also concerned that if I would ever get it what problems will come with it since it started in production early July and went to B4 in late July...ordered 3/14/19

I have the same (diamond white), but included E-ABC, towing package, and spoiler. Just no running boards.
Deposit in March, allocation in April, originally scheduled for 1D August but they had left off E-ABC. After correction, it moved to 2D August. Then gradually got delayed to September 17, 23, 25, 26, and now October 10.
Guess you guys are luckier than me, or maybe some combination of E-ABC/towing/spoiler are the culprits

Finally some good news for me, just got a VIN and the status moved from "B3 - X-10 Prod" to "B4 - X-2 Prod"! Fingers crossed that 10/10 is the final production date.
Edit: My VIN isn't showing up in the various decoder sites like mbdecoder.com yet. How long does that usually take?

My dealer said they are showing ETA on the 14th and "a few days later to the dealership".
Looking at the other deliveries above I imagine it wouldn't be totally unrealistic to expect delivery somewhere around the 16th - 17th.
Might have to get sick afterwards... I know what I will be busy doing next weekend

Incorrect build
UPDATE: Yesterday got word from dealer that it had arrived at the shop. So today I swing by just to see it since it wasn't ready for delivery. SA says everything is OK except it arrived without airmatic suspension option. %^#@%^*(&#! How is everthing OK then? I am thinking about it, but I probably won't be taking delivery of this unit. Waiting to here how long the wait would be for next batch to arrive to the country. So close yet so far. Back to the drawing board.

Agreed. Problem is we don't have NetStar system and they aren't very transparent with any info here.
