Question What oil do you plan on using?
I've always ran full synthetic extended performance (usually designed for up to 15K miles) on my cars, performing oil / filter change every 5K miles.
This will be first German vehicle so I am still in learning mode. What's your take - which brands and types would you go for on your 350/450 GLE?

0W40.. 5W40.. takes about a little under 8qts last time I used my TopSider

So manual says about 8.9qts for the 450 and MB specs of 229.51, 229.52, 229.61, 229.71.
Guessing with the turbo a 5W40 full synthetic will be good...
I wish Liqui Moly Molygen New Generation SAE 5W-40 was MB 229.51 listed.
Castrol 06249 EDGE 5W-40 Advanced might be a suitable choice
