This isn’t unexpected but still a little surprising to me. Didn’t expect this so soon. Daimler going all Electric!

GLE 350 de hyrbid
Having had an ML 350 Bluetec (and a TDI A6) before our GLE, would have definitely considered the 350 de if it was offered in the US...seems like the "best of both worlds":
Apparently MB will also offer a gas-electric hyrbid at some point, which I assume will be available in the US.

Me, too.

I agree a 350 DE hybrid diesel would rock. However, I don't think MB will be bringing any more diesel cars into the US. I suspect they had the same issues as VW, but avoided a recall by fessing up to the feds early and agreeing to stop importing. All conjecture, but I think I'm arbitrarily close to what has happened.
