Order Delay to Late July on GLE 450
I had a custom build GLE450 with an allocation date of Feb. 2020 and a build date 3 D April,2020.
Just spoke with dealer and was told the car is in production and to expect it late July or early August. Has anyone else been given this timeframe?
If the car is in production in Alabama, will it really take another 3 months to get it? I realize COVID has slowed everything, but curious why it would take so long if already in production.
I was told I would lose my deposit at this point since the car is in production, but not sure I can wait until August. My current car is on its last legs. In the shop as I type!

Ask them for a print out showing dates. It doesn’t seem like it’s in production, but maybe a build date in June or later. A car is typically built in a day or less. It takes some time after it’s built to get to the dealer but with all the shut downs transportation could be faster than usual.
