A service has been deactivated on your vehicle

I got up this morning and found a message from Mercedes Me on my phone. "Service Successfully Updated. A service has been deactivated on your vehicle" When I select this message it takes me to Mercedes Me but doesn't tell me any updates other than Map Updates which were installed in June. Any ideas?

I got the "A service has been deactivated" notification last evening. I couldn't find any changes when I looked at all of the services on the Portal. The I remember that I had turned the Linquitronics (sp?) off earlier in the day and wondered if that could have been what it was. Other than that, no idea?

Same here - no clue. Would be nice if the message was not so cryptic.

This seems to occur if they reset a service on their end for some reason. I got these earlier this year when my live traffic wasn't working anymore and they fixed it. It started working again after I got that message, so I was guessing that they re-provisioned the service on their end. You can login to the web portal and it'll conveniently tell you how many services are activated. That's the easiest way to spot if something got accidently deactivated. A few times in the past I had a few service get deactivated for no obvious reason. In my case all services are activated except for the Wi-Fi hotspot.

Very strange, I checked the portal and every single services shows as activated. I thought the other day my live traffic wasn't working, maybe this is it, I will check when I go out later today.

Me too, here in Canada with a GLS580. Can't find any reference to the message after it disappeared.

Check the Mercedes Me Connect app. It is most likely referring to the active sensors. I had this issue come up the other day and it came up again yesterday. See my prior post Active Sensors Not Active

Well, I got the same message, and my Live Traffic seems to be stuck in the past - it shows an accident that I verified (drove past) but the same accident has been stuck there for a couple of weeks now.
Went out to the car to see if the accident was gone, but Live Traffic still seems Dead, so the message doesn't seem to reference Live Traffic.
Unless they've de-activated it while they clear the wreck. Figuratively speaking.

Could it be that they switched service from ATT to TMobile?

Probably not. Mine came with TMobile and I received the message too.

Same message, no changes noticed. My live traffic seemed to have been working so that theory may not be accurate. With so much electronics who really knows, probably something obscure and with no real impact

They had to reset my communications unit twice and I received that message each time.

Not seeing that on my '21 GLE350. Al services seem to be active. And my AT&T internet seems to be active as well. Haven't received anything about a switch to T-Mobile.

Yesterday I got the recall done over the air, not sure if it's related to the service deactivation, might be just a coincidence.

So in the past 2 weeks I've been working with MB CS to resolve an issue where the "A service has been deactivated on your vehicle" message came through and all remote services became disabled.
I couldn't re-activate them at all as the website / app insisted that I need to "add details". Eventually they had me go into the app, and do the following:

Open the Me Connect App
Login, if not already
Tap the 3 line menu bar in the top left
Tap Legal
Tap Connect Terms of Use
Select “Contribution to improving vehicle functions”
Tap Save when done

...which resolved my issues. Meanwhile ATT discontinued the internet service on the vehicle, TMobile hasn't been activated yet.
Oddly enough there hasn't been any communication whatsoever from MB on the internet service switch.
