interior lights delay

anyone managed to extend the delay on the interior lights past the useless default of around 10 seconds?
It's not even enough time to shut the door and fix your seatbelts before you are plunged into darkness
The app seems to suggest it can be done from there but mine remains at around 10 sec

In MercedesMe App, under "Light Settings", go to ""Exterior and Interior Lights" , there's an option "30s switch off delay" under INTERIOR LIGHT SWTICHOFF DELAY.... that's what I have activated to 30 seconds

Is that what you were looking for?

yep, that's the setting I found......and it does not seem to work !

does yours stay on for 30 seconds?
.......I am wondering if the app and car are synchronising as there is always a message in the app that says waiting for synchronisation whether the automatic setting is on or off

The app SAYS last changes sent to vehicle...blah blah a couple of minutes ago after I started the engine but it also shows waiting for synchronisation still.....

I double-checked, my App is synchronized and the MBUX settings also indicate the delay is active. However, as soon as I close the doors, interior lights are out within a couple of seconds if the engine is on. If the engine is off, doors closed, the lights are out in ~7-8 seconds.

Will have to call the dealership personnel, who had set up my App settings initially, on Monday and find out why 30 seconds delay isn't working.

Thanks for pointing out.

I tried creating a profile but it made no difference......and of more concern it prevented us from using the two memorised seat positions so that is not an option
