Gle 350d 2021 annoying brake pedal squeak/ squeal w167
Hi everyone
i have a gle350d 2021, have recently had an issue where my brake pedal squeaks, i booked it in with mercedes and they claimed they resolved the issue by greasing the pivot on the brake pedal.
i walked over to my car and found that the issue was still present. Went back inside and was told they will have a senior technician have a look at it.
today i received a call saying they have ordered a new brake pedal assembly from mercedes germany. My question is has anyone experienced this before as to me this sounds like a booster issue and not a pedal issue.
I did mention to them that this issue is not a pedal issue but sounds more to do with the booster however they stated its the first point repair they need to do. Surely they should be trained enough to diagnose the issue.
any advice is appreciated. Ive attached a video of the issue.

do you by any chance have a document to show what mercedes did to your vehicle under warranty? Would help me as my mercedes dealership have still got my vehicle and are struggling to identify the issues even though i have advised them to look into the booster and mastercylinder

thank you very much mercedes have ordered the booster and master cylinder thanks to this
A update for everyone else. The squeaky sound was usually noticeable when the car was cold. Apparently the noise wasn't heard by the mercedes techs until today when i visited. tech confirmed the noise was present and after showing the repair sheet from zengshengliu they agreed the master cylinder and booster needed replacing.
