Recurring Sound - Text Notification Like Noise
Vehicle is a GLE 350.
I have been experiencing a recurring sound when I drive, and sometimes when I get into the car.
The sound is like a text notification but there are no new notifications that pop up.
The sound will occur regardless of driving condition, in parking lot, on side road, pulling out of garage, etc.
Recently the frequency of the sound occuring has picked up.
Has anyone dealt with a similar issue.

Yesterday. I turned off my phone after a series of unrecognizable beeps. It turns out that eBay was notifying me of a watched item, but with a different beep sound.
Fixed my car problem.
Now I have to de-escalate my eBay notifications.
Seriously, though, Android and especially Apple phones sometimes don't play nice with MBUX. Check for updates, or reboot your phone as a troubleshooting step.

It's the emergency alert sound, indicating there is/ are notification(s) to view. I get at least one to two test notifications of the emergency alert system each month and if we have bad weather in the area, I get strong thunderstorm warning and or tornado watch warnings that show up as notifications as well. You have to go in and delete each one at a time. There's no way to mass delete them that I have found. When you're on the radio screen press the little icon at the bottom that looks like a list and then when the screen changes look on the left bottom for the Emergency Alert notifications.

But rather the emergency warnings area that is somewhat buried. You have to goto the Radio, then click the list icon at the bottom center icon row on the screen (mine is second in from the left), then click "Emerg. Warnings" and then next screen after that will show anything active. Mine beeps with a tone every time I get in the car if there is something in this Emerg. Warnings list. Once I delete it, the beep goes away. I get the warnings for weather alerts primarily, but I also get a "this is a test of the emergency alert system" like once every 2-3 weeks. Quite annoying but I deal with it.

Mine just started doing this too. I shut down the beta last week, maybe this is another software issue it has caused? I happened mostly after unlocking and opening the door after a period of long rest. I don’t see any messages and am currently trying to replicate the issue.
