I received the following OTA update yesterday. There's good news, and not-so-good news.
- Good News:
After dealing with the horrible Burmiester system, I now FINALLY get sound out of the door speakers - IT'S A MIRACLE!!!! Not perfect, but a much needed improvement.
- Not-So-Good-News:
ILS that I paid @rjautomotive to code, some 18 months ago, no longer exists in the lighting menu. However, the "black box" effect remains intact; while, the dimming of reflective road signs is gone. Not yet sure what else doesn't work on the ILS.

I wonder if this applies to the 53 AMG Coupe model too, I haven't gotten an update yet. Also I wonder if they are maybe going to activate the ILS features since the legislation changed not that long ago I believe.
Once thing I have noticed on my 2024 53 AMG coupe the headlights actually BEND whereas on my 2021 350 that had the ILS would hardly move and it was near impossible to see the headlights bend.
Man, I guess I have to be ready to break out my dusty old windows laptop desktop again to get it reprogrammed.
Though I am not seeing this update yet on my MY 24 GLE 450. So I will be patient.

Yes, it would be nice to have the full funcinality of something that I paid extra for.
On a rare foggy night, I would convince myself that I could see the light bending.

I believe @rjautomotive offers free one-year reprograming; however, I am past that now. Not going to pay again.
It's just a bit inconvenient for me to use my windows laptop in the garage. It requires a consistent power source and the laptop itself is real bulky. Any turbulence to the power cord would shut-down the entire computer. So I dead the moment that I have to perform recoding.

I used a couple of extension power strips to make this work !
Once I was in the car, I didn't move a muscle for the ten minutes it took RJ to perform coding. When it was all over, I stretched so hard, accidently stepped on the gas and revved up the car to max. Literally woke up the entire house!
