I'm having trouble with the Mercedes me Connect app's two-factor authentication. It's asking for a pin sent via email, which can be slow. I have use biometric on but it will not request verification via biometric. Is there a way to bypass this step and just use my login ID and password?

Seems like the issue became a problem right after I started paying for the service.
