Is extended warranty + PPM worth it?

Is extended warranty + PPM worth it?
I recently purchased a 2025 GLE350 and I am considering whether to accept the bundle plan that includes an extended warranty with PPM. The details of the plan are as follows:
- Extended warranty ($4975): 8-year term with 75k miles, covering engine, transmission, drive axle, seals, AC, electrical, braking, suspension, steering, fuel delivery, and all parts (exclusionary)
- Prepaid maintenance ($2950): 4 years

I don't know where you got that deal, but it looks like it is more expensive than what Jeff Jackson at MB Louisville gave me a year ago in December.
Prepaid maintenance 4 year $2,470
Extended Life Warranty 7 year 100,000 mile $3,550
Please give him an email and see if you can get a better deal than your bundle. I see numerous posts on this forum recommending him for offering more affordable OEM warranty/PPM. Worth a shot. (Literally search Jeff Jackson on this forum and you will see dozens of results)

it's not a good deal because most of the service is a simple DIY.
for extended warranty I will pass. it's expensive for a relatively low risk that could likely cost lower if a problem arises.

Pricing is negotiable. When I bought my 2020 GLS the dealer asked $4,400 for two year extended CPO warranty, but we ended up at $2,750.
With regard to PPM, just compare to cost of individual services. I did get the PPM when I purchased my 2015 S550 in a private transaction, as it covered two major services and the plan was cheaper than the individual services. I have been using the dealer's service coupons for the two services on my GLS, but plan to compare prepaid plan as I have the major 50k service coming up in 2025.
