Fog Lights?

Fog Lights?
Just took my GLE on its first road trip!
Drove through some really nasty fog though, and I felt like the headlamps didn't provide great visibility - I was really wanting to have more road visibility, with lights pointing down a bit - aka fog lights.
Anyone have advice on adding fog lights?

Yeah, I had to double check today because there actually is a low-beam setting (position 5 in the manual) but when I was in the rain/snow I tried it and didn't notice any visibility-of-the-road improvement.
Anyone have advice on adding fog lamps? Here in Northern CA we get a lot of fog.
Thanks

Fog Lights are a part of the Intelligent Light System
If you have the LED headlamps, fog lights are integrated into the function of these lights, thus eliminating the need for separate fog lights. More info at the link below.
Extended Range Fog Lamps
The extended range fog lamps reduce the glare experienced by the driver and improve the illumination of the edge of the road.
Active: if you are driving at speeds below 40 mph (70 km/h) and you switch on the rear fog lamp.
Not active: if, following activation, you are driving at speeds above 60 mph (100 km/h) or if you switch off the rear fog lamp

Thank you for the great info. really good link, wish I had the option for lighting pkg, but I have the standard projectors so was trying to see if anyone else has luck adding aftermarket fog lamps.

I"m having the same problem. I had a 2015 ML250 with much better lights than this 2018 GLE350. Had I know I would have waited until I found one with the lighting package. What a disappointment! I'm looking for aftermarket fog lights also. I'm in Southern Oregon and we get fog a lot in the winter also.
