Can you lower the Airmatic suspension?

Is there a way to lower the airmatic suspension to get into parking garages, etc?

I can make it go up, just not sure how to make it go down.

The combination of air suspension and the Adaptive Damping System ADS PLUS provides good ride comfort whilst also ensuring excellent driving dynamics both on and off-road. The damping at each wheel is adapted to the current driving situation and road surface condition. The fully variable adjustable damping effectively reduces rolling and pitching when cornering or braking. The roll angle when cornering can be compensated for to even better effect in conjunction with the ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM. With the "Comfort" and "Sport" settings there is a choice between a more comfortable and a sportier setup with the AIRMATIC package. The pneumatic all-round self-leveling system ensures a constant vehicle level irrespective of the load. In "Sport" transmission mode the vehicle is lowered by -15 mm and in "Sport+" mode by -55 mm. Automatic lowering to the sport level (-15 mm) occurs in the "Comfort" transmission mode from a speed of 80 km/h. Among other things, this results in reduced wind resistance and further enhanced stability.

you can change to sport + mode, close the door, it will lower 55mm. but honestly, I don't think that make a difference for elderly people to get in and out of the car.

Hello
In my previous car, VW Touareg, there was a way, easy way, to lower the car. I used it a lot like as I said before to make the entrance to the car for older people easier or to put the suitcases into the car.
Well, different car brands, different uses of air suspensions.

No we don't. I believe it is only on the AMG's. My 400 doesn't have it either.

2020 GLE450 4Matic AMG-Line
The WK2 Grand Cherokee with the air suspension has a park mode that lowers the vehicle to ease ingress/egress.
I didn't see anything like that for the GLE, regardless of trim.
