2017 GLE 43 Coupe
I'm new to the forum and the MB brand. We ordered our '17 GLE Coupe on June 1 and picked it up Aug 19. Absolutely love it so far. The fit and finish, interior quality seem to be top notch. And I LOVE the growl from the exhaust when 1st started after sitting a few hours! Or of course in Sport + mode. Killer rumble! I know this is almost one of those love it or hate it designs from what I've read, but the fact that these are a bit more rare makes it even more desirable for us. And of course having just purchased one, we are in the "Love it" crowd.
Polar White with black/porcelain seats. Here are a couple of pics.
I'll post a more detailed review after I've had it a couple of months. However, as of right now, we like everything about it!

My wife picked up a similar one, except we got the beige interior. She previously had a 2010 ML350, and I hated driving that thing.
It felt like driving a barge. Conversely, I love driving the GLE43. I also appreciate the exclusivity at this point.
Overall, I'm very happy with this ride.

congrats to you both! That white/black interior looks sharp.
I have always wonder exactly how many GLE coupe does MB produce each year.

Even without kids or dogs, white/light color interior is hard to keep clean. I love light color interior, it is beautiful, but very easily stained. The only way I would do it is if I was leasing the car.

No pets, 9 grandchildren! 99% of the time we take them in my truck. They won't all fit in the Coupe anyhow. LOL.
This is my wife's car and we traded her 15 Jag with all porcelain seats. They were spotless. However, I agree with y'all, as much as I love the light seats, they are harder to keep clean. But we are fanatics about keeping our autos nice and shiny inside and out so they get cleaned regularly.

This is not an issue for you, but for cars with light color dash, carpet, and seat back, every time you step in with dirty shoes or kick the seat back, it leaves a dark mark... so hard to clean.

I agree. I have a Corvette that has beige door panels and I'm constantly having to wipe black shoe marks off the bottom of it where my shoes hit getting out. the carpet is also beige but I have black mats so that helps on that end. The seats are black/beige and they are not too bad.

I had a 2014 Porsche 911S with blue interior, perfect for wearing jeans, jean jacket, jean vest, jean shorts, but bad for resale....
Anyway, enjoy the car!

The white loafer. And I had some black and white ones too! Guess that was stuck in my brain as to why I ordered black and white seats.

Your Thoughts.....
GLRY2HIM,
Congrats on your new purchase! I'm a newbie as well. Even newer than you. I just ordered my 2017 GLE43 (attached) two weeks ago. ETA is late Jan early Feb. Being that you've had yours for several months now, I'd be very interested in your take on it thus far.
I've found some accessories you may be interested in as well.
For those interested, MBUSA finally got around to uploading the 2017 brochure. You can download it here:

GLE "Coupe" Mud Flaps
MB still has no mud flaps for the GLE Coupe, only the SUV (W166). After almost two years of the same body design and still no flaps, I'm not sure they ever will be produced. I've had mud flaps on every new vehicle I've ever purchased. I'm not waiting on MB. I found these. Both look to be the exact same model, just from different sellers. They come in two versions, with and without running boards.

We still only have about 2,500 miles on the car but absolutely love it. If fact this is my wife's car and she tells me pretty often "I love my car". We like the looks as well as the ride. And of course we've nick named it "The Growler" due to the growling and popping of the exhaust. We have only seen 1 in our area and that was on the interstate so it's nice to have something different that stands out.
My wife has a heavier right foot than me but she still is averaging around 20 overall. We've seen as much as 24.5 mpg at 60 but still around the 22-23 at 75.
The car handles well and turns very easily. That is one of the first things I noticed when we drove one before our purchase.
If you have specific questions you are welcome to ask.

Thanks for the update. Any regrets on not getting the ventilated seats? I know it's not an issue now, but what about when the weather was warmer? I ordered the same color combo. How are the seats holding up cleanliness wise? What are you using to clean them? The Porcelain/Black is my favorite interior. Unfortunately, it's not available with ventilated seats.

Anyone considering paint protection film? I'm a firm believer in this stuff. It protects your car's finish from all of those nasty events that are part of daily routine driving. Not all paint protection films are created equal. I can personally attest to the durability of Expel Ultimate. It's "self healing". I've had it on my current car for over seven years. It looks exactly like the day it was installed. My front bumper is in pristine condition and paint chip free! I plan on getting this for my new GLE43 as well. The kits below protect the most common areas. However, they can pretty much do any part of the car you want. The film is laser cut using a computer program for your specific vehicle. I'm also getting the headlights and door handle cups done as well. They'll even do the windshield!!!

This is actually encouraging on the fuel economy.
We just put the down payment on our GLE43 yesterday.
We are coming off of a VW Touareg TDI, that gets in the 27-29 range on the highway. We've gotten spoiled not having to fill up all the time.
I'm looking forward, though, to this vehicle.
