Pre Wired & Lumbar Control

Hi,

Just got my GLE 350 2017 and it has the pre wired included. Looking on the set up its says if you have pre-wired you get in the front pass anger seat the lumber control. However, I noted it did not have the electronic control so now wondering it did not include the pre wired for entertainment. Anyone have same and worked it out?

Mine has the rear seat entertainment pre-wire and the seat does have the power lumbar adjustment as well.

thx... not sure how to check if is actually has the pre-wire but it says on the sales document it is included and priced in. Guess I need to go dealer and make some enquires...

I'm not sure how to check either. It says it on my paperwork. I am sure it is under the seat somewhere. I know my local electronics shop knows where it is located because the dealer sends customers there for the aftermarket systems.

On your front passenger door, can you adjust the passenger's headrest up and down w/ the button? If you can, you have it. If not and it's just a dummy button, then you don't.

so the good news is yes.. the button works. but their no adjustment switch on the side of the seat for lumber. I am right to expect one with pre-wired...

Same here. I have the button to adjust the passenger headrest up/down. However, it does not have a lumbar support switch.

Yes, pre-wired is supposed to have lumbar support for the passenger seat. MB pulled a fast one on us.

On another note, can someone please confirm whether the front passenger is supposed to have heated seat as well? I have the button but nothing happens when I push it. Only the driver's side heated seat works which doesn't make sense. Usually heated seats comes equipped by rows. Either front or rear heated seats.

I thought the heated and the cooled seats were available only by rows. That is the way it is on mine.

The button for heated seats is on either side of the center console. Left for drivers side, right for passenger. The buttons only control their respective seat.
If the car is equipped with rear heated rear seats then there will be two more buttons in the rear center console for each side (rear passenger and rear driver).
