GLE 43 Coupe Oil Burner?
Just picked up my 2017 GLE 43 Coupe.
In the online owners manual,pg 295,it says your vehicle can consume almost a quart (0.9) of oil every 600 miles.
How much oil are your GLE's going thru?

Recommended Oil
This is the Mobil-1 oil recommended by MB for the AMG GLE43 Coupe. Viscosity is 0W-40. Notice the label says "European Car Formula". It meets MB-Approval 229.5.

Mercedes has put that statement in the owners manual for every model for the last several decades. That is the level of consumption at which they perform warranty repair on the engine. Other manufacturers are in the same range, though they mostly don't say so in the manual. You can expect the GLE to not require addition of any oil between changes, just as with any other new car.
