Chrome Dipping for the wheels?

Has anyone attempted to chrome dip their stock wheels....

Isawelvis 05-27-2017 01:57 PM

Have not seen chrome dip, but a friend of mine had his wheels sprayed/tinted or something that gives the wheels the darkened look. Seen it on TV but have not been to anyone who applies this plastic coat. On my friends car, he had chrome wheels but the black spray/tint/color gives it the really nice look.

If you find out about this , keep us posted.

Chrome is from the 90s don't do it. Plus they will corrode off eventually

Agree. Hey rohseq are you in Canada? I ask because Cavensite Blue is not a US color. If so, chrome gets pitted by road salt put down for snow.
