My 2016 GLE 350 has rattles in all 4 doors. The drivers door was the loudest. The dealer just replace the window track in the drivers door, and while it seemed to solve the issue, it's back again a week later. The noise sounds almost like a creaky mattress, and seems to come from inside the door. Just curious if anyone else has this issue?

No, not in the door - but a cracking sound comes from my roof skylight area when I turn out of a rolled curb driveway or go over a nasty speed bump. MB can't replicate. Anyone else?

My car makes a lot of creaking / cracking sounds pulling into my driveway... I thought it was the doors / windows, but it may be the roof as well. Overall, I'm surprised by the noises my car makes. I'm curious if it's a lot of cars with these issues or just a few.

Thanks, that thread sounds exactly like what's going on with my car. I also have a rattle, but the "creaking" is what's persistent, even after the rattle was "fixed". I do notice that the car sounds much better after a wash. So I guess the door seals being replaced solves the issue?

I only hear it when I drive down our garage or go over a speed bump and I don't like having my car taken apart, so I didn't do anything about it. When you read the thread this was the best answer:

" this issue is a warranty item - and Yes the dealer should take care of it - in their shop - at nocharge to you.

The dealer has two things: a door seal "clearner" for the seals and door frame - and a door seal "lotion" - the procedure is to clean the seals and then lubricate the seals.

I have seen this go away - sometimes takes 2 rounds a couple of weeks apart.

If this doesn't solve it - two times - then warranty procedure is to replace the door seals which frankly is a big pain-in-the-****"

I started hearing some noises after 6 months and 10000 km around the doors when moving slowly on uneven surface debalancing the car and causing it bend somehow. Wouldn't call it rattle but it's more the sound made by rubbing rubber to something hard. Haven't visited the dealer yet.

I had this exact same issue in my GLS. It's the rubbers around the door frame. No permanent solution I'm afraid except every fortnight where the rubbers touch the body use an alcohol based wipe which will rectify the issue.

MB SYDNEY gave me this advise, don't worry about the snake oil they will suggest, it won't work.

Thanks for chiming in... I'm suprised its not just GLEs.

I have a dealer appt next week, we'll see how it goes.

Just purchased a pre-owned 2016 GLE 400, and I notice this EVERY time I pull into the driveway. I don't plan on doing anything about it, but it's definitely noticeable.
