I found the link to this on a German site.

It's unlikely the W167 GLE will be a 2019 model since MB already released the DOG for the 2019 GLE W166 a few months ago. Nothing's official yet but I expect it will debut in the USA as a 2020 model to help sales and residuals. We should all know for sure very soon.

If that is in fact a GLE AMG 53 prototype, I think the engineers did a great job. Those wheels work well also.

Everything looks good on the exterior but that diamond grill. That has to go or at least blacked out.
And is it me or does the side shot look a little Volvo’ish?

To each his own. I think it looks very good on the new GLE and on every other MB I've seen. The Panamerica grill is my favorite but that will more likely be used only on the AMG 63 version. I currently own a GLS550 with a gas-guzzling V8. It's a great engine but I'm ready to try the new M256 inline six.

Are you thinking about trading in your 16 GLE400?

Looks good! And yes, the GLE 400 will either be sold or traded when the time comes. I’ve just got to decide if I’m going to go with another GLE, upgrade to the GLS when I see more of it, or possible back to a truck.

No doubt the new GLS will be awesome. I owned three GL/GLS models (all 550's) but we're seriously considering the new GLE.

Over all I have enjoyed my GLE but it has been expensive to maintain when compared to some of my other Mercedes. We like the room and ride but would like a little more room now that our daughter is getting older and we are traveling more. So I am excited to see the new GLE (none of the trucks we looked at excited either of us) and hopefully soon we will know more about the GLS too.
Also, is there anything special about tomorrow and why MB chose that day? Or is tomorrow just a rumor of the reveal?

We'll know for sure tomorrow.

That was for the 2019 GLE. This one is for the 2020 GLE. BIG difference!

And to make people having to check both.........ornery. But I get it.

Well that went down hill quickly! The black rubber aches over the wheels are bad, and the double bar grill doesn't do it justice. The other photos looked so much better. I need to see more!

Touch screens!!!!!!!!!!!!

That model looks a little "jeepish" on the exterior. I like the other, "frankfurtcarspotter", photos better. Still looking forward to seeing more though.
