"New" Mercedes Me Connect App for 2019 Models
There's a completely new app for 2019 models called Mercedes Me Connect. New features include:
- Fuel Level, Including Range
- Engine On/Off Status
- Vehicle Locked Status
- Tire Pressure
- Battery Charge
- Brake Pad Condition
- Warning Lamps Status

It is cool to see that there is a new bug fix release for the Me Connect app on iPhone. Although I got my doors to lock/unlock a couple of times and remote start to work a few times, it was definitely not reliable and only worked about 25% of the time. One trick that seemed to work was Unlocking the door using the app first, letting the car re-lock the doors automatically and then initiating the Remote Start with the app. I am out of town today and will hopefully be flying home tonight. With the snow in the northeast, I would love to be able to remotely start my car on the way to the parking garage. I downloaded the new app, so we will so how it works if my flight isn't cancelled.
Cheers!
Cheers!

Good luck to you! Unfortunately, I was sad to see that the reviews for the new app are even worse than those for the regular Mercedes Me app. All of the features of MM work for me, but apparently, I'm a very small minority. MB needs to get on the ball with this. I've emailed Customer Service and even provided them with a link to read "real" customer reviews, showing how unreliable the app is. I was hoping to embarrass them into fixing it. However, it just doesn't seem to be a priority for them, and I can't understand why.
Any MB employees out there care to answer?

MB really needs to find better engineers to write apps that actually works. It seems like all the MB apps are garbage that do not work.

No ME Connect in Canadian App Store!
Hi everyone,
I’ve just received my 2019 E450 coupe few days ago (Vancouver BC, 🇨🇦 and I’m struggling to get the Mercedes Me working.
What at I noticed is that many posters here mention that you have to install two apps to get all features working: Mercedes Me AND Mercedes Me Connect. The Canada App Store only offers the Me app, not the Connect app!
Is there a way around that?

Where did you read that? I think you may have misunderstood. Mercedes Me is for vehicles 2018 and prior. Mercedes Me Connect is for model years 2019+. You should not be installing both apps. If your vehicle is a 2019 model, you should be using Mercedes Me Connect to take full advantage of all of the features. If the Canadian App Store only offers MM, even if you could download MMC, it might not be supported. I'm not sure if MM will even work with your vehicle, but it's worth a try.
MB Canada says the MB connect is launched for 2019 vehicles, but the App Store here carries the MM only, not the MMC... I downloaded it and it shows all services but wouldn’t activate any! My MB dealer is trying from their end too but no success yet.
I’m wondering if the problem is in the app, i.e. it should be MMC not the MM which is the only available one now.

You should call MB Customer Service and complain. How many complaints they get may determine how fast this is rectified.

I will add that for all app users, customer service did tell me that they don't know if the 5 year free trial will continue to be free since it was started in 2016 and they have not hit the 5 year mark to decide. Unofficially, the guy expected it would since it's a phone app program and not really competing with the other MB subscription services.

I know you have an iPhone, but take a look at this link for Android phones. I just noticed it says, "Mercedes me connect (USA)". This tells me the MMC app isn't yet available in Canada. That sucks! This functionality is figured into the purchase price of your car. You're paying for something you're entitled to, yet it's not available. It looks like the problem is incompatibility with the MMC app and Canadian cellphone networks. MB could easily fix this. They just have to release a different version for Canada. This is unacceptable. They should have had a version for you before the 2019 models were released.

Just a new owner (2019 E450C!) without the Connect service working. I've read through the gazillion posts here, hoping to find the 'solution'. Alas, I guess I'll call the 800-number and get them to start working on it.
One quick question: where is the Mercedes Me portal for US customers? https://me.mercedes-benz.com takes to the a German language page with not evident way to change languages. I went ahead and logged in (which worked) and proceeded to fill in some missing items in my profile. The first thing you have to select is your region/country. However, there's no choice for USA (or Canada, for that matter). Is there anohter URL someone has?
Thanks!

Never mind about the last part of my question. For some reason, Safari was directing me directly to the German page. When I tried using Chrome, I got to select the correct region...
So now to see if I can get it to work...
