How to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit
Hi all. I have a 2018 that has the display in Celsius. Everything else is standard (the temp dials for HVAC, mph, gallons, etc). It's the display that's Celsius. I can't seem to figure it out.

Go to the arrows on the left hand side of the steering wheel.press the one that points to the right until you reach settings. when instrument cluster is highlighted press OK
in front of you you will see display unit speed odometer in miles. Press, OK to change and then an arrow under that. Press the down arrow once and then you will see in front of your permit display: outside temperature press it to change it to Celsius to Fahrenheit. Hope this helps.
I did this from Voice Control as I was sitting in the car so I apologize in advance for the strange usage of the English language syntax

Strangely, my car doesn't have that option under Instrument cluster. Just MPH/KPH and then when I scroll down it only gives the option for switching between speed and outside temp on the dash. Edit: It's like it says in the manual. Apparently, only a dealer can do it. That's silly.

Your car was imported from Canada and therefore has its region set to Canada, which controls the temperature unit of measure. It can only be changed by the factory or the importer (MB USA). This is a common giveaway that the car was imported from Canada, because dealerships can't change this, either. It's tied to the region setting. They put new scales on the dials to convert them, but they can't change the digital displays. I would like to change mine from Fahrenheit to Celsius, because I grew up in Europe, so Celsius is natural to me, but I got the same answer from MB USA, that it is set to the prevailing unit of measure in the market the car is sold and can't be changed anywhere in the settings. I believe this could be changed in older model years, but the option to change it is no longer there in more recent model years with newer software. Not sure why MB thinks the end user won't want to change the unit of measure for temperature.

I was curious about this so I messed around with mine (a 2016). The best I could do was to change the temperature reading from °F to km/hr. Wasn't sure how I did that and it took quite a few tries to get the temperature and the large digital speed back to "normal" (°F and mph, respectively). I learned though - didn't know I could do that.

The software changes between MY, but when you change the "destination" from Canada to US, whole measuring system will change.
I am always confused how Canadians measure things.
The speed is in kph on land, but knots on water.
The elevation is in meters, but depth in feet.
The weight in kilograms, but deli shops sell cold cuts in ounces.

Aside from my atrocious spelling of Fahrenheit, I resolved the issue! I was getting my tune from Eurocharged and they were able to switch it right over. Plus they upgraded headlights to Euro spec and removed the seatbelt chime. Oh yeah, the car is an absolute MONSTER now. If I punch it from a 20mph roll, it torque steers and lights up traction control every time. I'll make a post on it after I get the intakes in and installed (back ordered).
However, I still can't spell Fahrenheit (or bureaucracy) without spell check and/or several attempts.

There is a very good reason for this... Its because we are so close to the US - but also still use the metric system like the rest of the world - that we have had to adopt a 'hybrid' system.
Isnt it more confusing as to why only the US uses the imperial system which has no proper conversion of units of measure when the rest of the world uses the metric system where MM, CM, M, KM all convert very seamlessly and efficiently?
Isnt it weird to you that 0°C is the accurate freezing point of water - but 32°F is the freezing point in fahrenheit. I think you should be asking yourself why does the US force Canada to use such weird units of measure and you have yet to adopt the world standard...
