Plastic cladding around wheels and entire car??
 

What is up with the Honda like black plastic around the entire car and wheel wells. Very disappointing--yeah I know you can get rid of it with AMG package--but don't want 21" wheels--harsh ride and many other downsides.

I own 2013 bluetec --and has "real" painted surface everywhere--go figure

You dont have to get the 21 inch wheels. THe 20 inch wheels on AMG package has suffient sidewall tire thickness and gives a very smooth ride like the 19s on the older Ml and GLEs. Go and test drive one to see.

The X5 and Cayenne have the same black trim as well.
