GLE43 AMG 4 doors

We plan to check out this model on weekends. Need advices. How much discount (%) can we get for this model? We are living in Seattle,WA. Thank you.

27T 03-24-2017 02:33 AM

12% easy.

2 door = 17% easy.

Viet Do 03-24-2017 02:47 AM

Can you give me some advice how to get this %?

fabbrisd1 03-24-2017 08:10 PM

I'm sure it will be such good advice - I want to hear it about the 12%/17% off too

I'd like some of that good advice also.

MB employee much?

Take a wild guess who in this thread works for Mercedes and doesn't want anyone to get a discount? I'm certain this person will try to sabotage anyone who attempts to help anyone here. If in fact you do work for Mercedes, please have the $#%%@ to state this in your posts. For some reason, you always seem to "troll" in threads that concern discounting and make negative comments about anyone asking about how to get a better price and throwing shade on anyone who offers advice on how to get discounts. People use this forum to help one another and not to hinder people. If you cannot be helpful, then please keep your comments to yourself, and just lurk like you are probably best at.

Negotiate. Subtract 12% from the MSRP. Make that offer. Stick to it. :D

yxc145 03-27-2017 12:07 PM

12% and 17%?! wow. that's super nice. I only got 8% off a year ago and that was a good deal.
By the way, there is no such thing as 2 door GLE.....

I think most know this but I believe the second poster was trying to be funny and sarcastic and a few got angry. It was just funny how the OP worded the title. I took it as 27T was just giving him a hard time.
I do agree that 12% or more is pretty hard to achieve. I got right at 7% on mine and 3 other dealers wouldn't even beat 6. The 4th was off by $250 but I also had to drive 100 miles, one way, to their dealership so the 5th and closest one won out.

yxc145 03-27-2017 01:44 PM

ah.............. Got it.

I think 17% is achieveable on C300 or ML350, E300 a few years into the production, during year end.

E55-KEV strategy is the best. Just ask for the price you want.... what's the worst that can happen ;)

Find out where's the closest MB dealership that just opened for business. New dealerships are usually willing to deal because their main purpose is to move vehicles rather than going for profits.

I am at 12% on an $81k GLE AMG43. So it is doable. Picking up today I think. You just have to find a dealer willing to work w you. Also, this is my 4th car from them so they know I am a good customer. Be respectful and negotiate and you should be able to get a good deal.

Tbone8771 05-22-2017 09:30 AM

Definitely shop around with different dealers if you have that ability. The worst that happens is you spend some extra time finding out that your local dealer was the best. I shopped around and wound up buying mine out of state and it was well worth the effort to find what I wanted at a price that was much better than the 3 local MB dealers in my area.

I think it is possible now that car has been out for 2 years. plus, they are probably going to do a complete redesign in 2 years. I can see that they would discount more now.

any one got that kind of discount (12%~17%) on a GLE43 Coupe? I just ordered a MY18, but the dealer is only willing to do $3500 off MSRP. Which is already the best I can get in my 50 miles radius. Most is selling at MSRP even for stock vehicles, 2 will do $2k off.

Why are you limiting it to a 50 mile radius? How many dealerships does that include?

I'm willing to go further if the deal makes sense. I've called and emailed MB dealers over the 50 mile radius. there are 17 MB dealers within 50 miles from where I live.

I'm still curious to find out if the 12%+ discount is for the SUV or Coupe.

12%+ discount is for the SUV. I couldn't find a dealer that would move on the Coupe. I pick my GLE43 SUV on Saturday. $80,660 list, $10,300 off. Just shy of 13%
