Front Hood Warm to Touch
Hi Everyone,
I have a 2019 GLE 43 AMG coupe bought in Dec 2019. I've noticed since I have had the suv that the front hood frequently gets very hot even after suv has been off for over 1hr. When driving the suv to different locations it doesn't seem warm to touch but to be honest I probably dont' check that often. However, after parking the suv in the garage, I notice the front hood and front side panel above the tire are extremely hot to touch. Anyone else experienced this?

Yeah, I'm gonna give the dealership a call but I know they will end up having me bring it in which is time consuming. Obviously, the engine is supposed to be hot but didn't know if this was normal for this vehicle/everyone with this vehicle experiences this or not. It drives perfectly fine.

Update. Discussed it with the dealership and had them check it out. No issues found. I had a 2020 GLE SUV with 900 miles on it as a loaner and it did the same thing; Turned it off after getting home and front hood was much hotter so this seems to be normal for the GLE's.
