Has anyone experienced a driver seat squeaking during soft weight transfer (gentle turns or slight humps in the road)? Driving me crazy and can not locate the source of it. I read that some S class models had broken seat rails and had to be replaced to fix the issue. Haven’t seen any reports of that on the GLE though. Mine is the coupe 63 version with massaging seats if that makes any difference.

My SUV has recently stated doing the same. I have not taken a look yet but will prolly spray or lube underside with WD40 at some point.

My 2013 GL63 AMG has the same issue, as did my 2013 ML63 before that. I was told its the cushion starting to breakdown apparently, dealer didnt want to know but they told me about a seat repair guy they use who would strip down the seat and reupholster the foam cushion to prevent the clunking / cracking noises, not sure what he was going to do but he quoted me about £100 GBP here in the UK. I use my GL63 a lot so the firm seat cushion is breaking down badly, think a new cushion is circa £250 GBP from Mercedes plus fitting

Had the same issue on my gle 63. The seat rails were changed on new ones and the problem has gone
