GLE Coupe tires 22" questions
Hi,
I have some questions about the tires I have on my GLE43 2017. My tires sizes are:
Front - 285/40/ZR22 106Y
Rear - 325/35ZR22 110Y
It seems the only two brand available for these sizes are the Continental and the PIRELLI. I tried both brands and by far they are the worst tires I have had, I had to replace the Continental after 10,000 miles and now the PIRELLI. I had to balance the wheels three times, and on my last visit to the dealer he recommended to replace those and I only had them for less then a year! Not to mention each tire cost about $500 and they are mainly summer tires, not all season!
Can anyone recommend a brand or different sizes that I can put on my car? Will it be okay if all my four tires have the same size (285/40R22)?
I'm even thinking to change the rims to 21" to have more options as far as tires, but not sure if the front rims will be different in size from the rear rims. Does anyone know or can someone provide us with feedback?
I really don't want to spend another $2000 on poor performance tires.
Thank you in advance
