Nice ride...

the Nokians Hak 8 are the best...get studded in 20" size 265/275 width if possible...

Got the Continental Cross Contact LX Sport instead of the Nokia Hak8. It doesn't snow much here for me to spend that much on a dedicated snow setup.

Wanted to get it wrapped close to factory magno black - does anyone know which one comes close?

Is it worth it to keep the factory 22's matte black wheels? Only two size tires available. Looking at some Brabus wheels.

Bought the Amazon/eBay lowering module. This is in LOW setting with SPORT suspension on. Without SPORT suspension it sits maybe 3/4" higher.

I will get better pictures but before/after. About a 1.5" drop all around.

I need new tires for the 22" wheels. I am looking at Toyo Proxes ST 3 - they have the front tires in factory 285/40R22 but the rear is 335/25R22 not 325/35R22. It shouldn't be an issue and these tires should last longer than the other two options and these Toyo's are all season vs summer.

I want to get the 22" powdered coated gloss black as well.

Very nice. I went CPO on our ‘17 GLE63s SUV and have not had any regrets. The truck had 13k miles and had huge savings over new. We’ve put 15k miles in less than a year. Thing is the most comfortable baby hauler, dog hauler, grocery getter, highway cruiser rocket ship I can think off. I down sized the tires to a 265 R20s Nokian Haekkapillitas R3. Have been unstoppable in our Minnesota winter. I did notice handling is a lot different compared to the wider 295 summer tire, as the car feels a lot lighter, if that’s even the right word, a little more twitchy with steering input compared to a more planted feel with the wider tire so you just adjust your driving a little.

Summer set. Will be mounting it back the second half of April.

Snow set.

I drove both SUV & coupe but the coupe drives different compared to the SUV. SUV drives more like the X5M I had and the factory 21" wheels gave me a lot of issues with the road grooves and would dart all over the place. Owners with the 20" wheels didn't have this problem. The coupe doesn't drive like that, but it is also more impractical compared to the SUV.

is that the "Low" setting on the amazon module? Any inner tire wear?

Yah, it is the low setting so it lowers 32MM. There shouldn't be any more than usual inner tire wear, it is basically like driving in Sport+ mode all the time.

You can create a custom one and lower/raise it as high as you want. I tried 15MM all around and it didn't make much of a difference.

awesome!

I bought the same module for mine. I set the custom height to drop it -65mm haha basically slammed for shows. I have been putting it back to factory height to actually drive though because i was unsure about the alignment.

So factory in sports mode it drops -32mm stock?

Just wanted to give you an update - had a service appointment so asked my tech to see how the tires were wearing, he said everything falls within factory specs. I am lowered -20mm all around. Not as aggressive as sport settings but then the ride becomes too harsh.
