AMG GLE 63 S
Gas Cap
Relatively new to the MB World and other forums and apologize in advance if this has been covered.

I am trying to find something that prevents the gas cap from contacting the paintwork when filling. Is there a solution or do most just snip the connection?

My M-B has a fixture attached to the inside of the fuel filler door to stow the cap when fueling.
