Is 1.25 inches lower noticeable much? Is that the max it can go?

Nanook, do you have part number(s) handy and how easy (instructions would be great) is it as a DIY for a novice potential installer(me)? TIA.

the module is much easier. You literally just plug it in, hit a few buttons and done. Then go back to stock within seconds.

Agree, but as Nannook pointed in one of threads he linked in post #13, lowering (regardless of how it is achieved) opens up other issues which to me are enough not to lower (W166 ML/GLE AMG is already an excellent handling SUV, much better than many non AMG MB sedans/coups, and since I do not track the SUV, "curb appeal" is not enough for me to overcome those "issues", minor as they're, but still present).

Well for the cost and time invested in lowering as I did returning to stock is maybe a 15-20 min task and all you're out is the cost o the links..minor.

I did get the dealer to do an alignment on my GLE ( I never did align the ML with no issues) and they went as far with camber as possible..rides and handles fine..
