Extended warranty and premier prepaid maintenance
Hello all - I am taking possession of my new 2024 AMG 53 SUV in the next few days, and started shopping around for two things:
1. MB-offered premier/prepaid maintenance plans (link)
2. MB-offered extended warranty plans (link)
Anyone can share what premiums/quotes they were recently offered for such plans?
Also, if a dealer gave you a good deal, do you mind sharing what dealership that was?

There are a few variables before you can make a comparison.
Tell us how many years, and how many miles per year you'll drive. That way you can compare your quote with the responses.

Let's assume for warranty I want either 3 years (extra) with a total of 75k miles, or 3 years (extra) with a total of 100k miles.
For premier prepaid maintenance, let's do the maximum allowed.

I'm in the same boat horus333. This is what I just got from my dealership today and definitely think these prices are massively inflated:
Extended warranty options:
7 yr/75,000 mi Warranty – $5580 + tax
7 yr/100,000 mi Warranty – $6400 + tax
Prepaid maintenance options:
2 yr/20,000 mi Maintenance – $1900 + tax
3 yr/30,000 mi Maintenance – $2560 + tax
4 yr/40,000 mi Maintenance – $3480 + tax
Extended warranty options:
7 yr/75,000 mi Warranty – $5580 + tax
7 yr/100,000 mi Warranty – $6400 + tax

So, I got quotes for 4 yr/40,000 mi Maintenance in the range of $3250 to $3280 - apparently the MSRP is $3280, so am surprised you got $3480.
For the 7 yr/100,000 mi Warranty, I got quotes between $4600 and $5995. I went with a dealer that offered $3280 for the prepaid maintenance and $4600 for the extended warranty.
No sales tax where I live for such contracts/policies.
So long story short, prepare a short email/message with exactly which plan you want, your VIN number, and send it to 8-12 dealers in your State and in other States, and you're like me, you'll get 4-5 quotes back, some of them good, some not.

That, in itself, might get you a better deal on the spot.
Current miles on your car and in-service date make a difference.

Agreed (what you suggest has worked for me in the past). Except in my case, the dealer I used to purchase the car refused to match, so I purchased elsewhere.

But, I asked for quotes from dealers in TX, KY, OR and OH whose contact details I found in top search results for each of those states (based on various forum messages suggesting they may offer good deals).

Timing wise, how long after taking delivery did you get the quotes? I know with other cars we have gotten the hard sell to commit when taking delivery.

I started getting quotes 1 week prior to taking delivery (as soon as I had the VIN). The day of delivery, I negotiated one last time and that same day I purchased the plan (though I could have waited). I think you have some time before you buy the prepaid maintenance plan and the warranty. Unsure how much time, but it's usually 30 days for the extended warranty and something similar for the prepaid maintenance plan.
