As the title states, I would like to find out if there are any differences or upgrades from MY 2024 VS MY 2025 GLE63S.
I plan on snatching a 2024 GLE63S as the prices have finally came down, I curently own a 2017 GLE63S for close to 3 years, I love the 17 but I think it's time to step into the future of the facelift 2024 W167 chassis .
Please if you have any info it would me much appreciated . I'm guessing the infotainment command could be the only changes.
Basic summary:
Both 2024|2025 have MBUX 2.
MY 2024 - some still have emotion start, some arrived without. mine has it.
MY 2025 - added fingerprint reader. added manufaktur signature silicon grey paint option. not much else. no emotion start.

OK weird question, how does the 17 feel in comparison to the 24? Does the 17 feel like a dinosaur tech wise, 9 speed trans vs the 7 speed and what about the motor 177 vs 157 ?
I did not test drive the 24 or let alone any w167 at all yet.

I traded my 2016 GLE63 for a 2024 GLE63. Comparing the W166 to a W167 tech wise is a huge upgrade. I got a lot of tech and electronic features I'll prolly never use. I don't notice any difference in 7 and 9 speed tranny. The additional HP makes it feel more brutal IMO.

The chassis and the suspension.
The 17 chassis is a lot more flexible, and the AMG suspensions on the 166 chassis were just stiff.
The new chassis (167) brought back "supple."
Thank you for the feedback guys, I’m going to test drive a 24 later this afternoon. I’ll let you know how it feels. But I saw one on the road and looked really stiff with suspension going over bumps. So overall is it more fun to drive you would say?
I loved that color. My first choice but very hard to find
I build my cars. If I’m paying that kind of money, I’m getting what I want. My CY26 is MANUFAKTUR Signature Mystic Blue Metallic. It has a similar color changing effect.
I just wanted to share that I went through with my decision and I upgraded to the 2024 GLE63W4S. I will do a full write of the process. I am so happy feels like this is 25 yrs ahead of the w166. The burmester audio system is really crap, but I read that it can be upgraded with 8” dusl subs and some amps and door speakers. Has anyone done it?
Will be interesting to see what top audio option they offer in the 2027 option (or whatever name it'll be in the DOG) pkg on a GLE63.
I really have come to enjoy the Bur. High End 3D in my 2022 GLE53.
The bass isn't as punchy as aftermarket subs, and I can def. see where some would like to have it "hit" harder than stock.
Hoping for something at least as good as my 3D offered in the '27 MY GLE again.... IIRC, you currently have to go to the GLS63 to get the 3D option ($4550 USD).

Thank you Mikapen for the help, I got in touch with MSC america who is the distributor for the speakers in the USA and they located a shop for me who sells the setup you mentioned, I will go for the high end version that they offer. Shop name is called Vanguard automotive design in Orangeburg NY 10962.
Here is the invoice I got from them. Also I want to mention that I looked up prices online individually for the speakers and they are priced 100-150 less than on this invoice so I will call the owner back and see if he can match that. Let me know what else you might suggest for me to do.
