Well just as the case with the C class...the GLK appears to be delayed and won't be at dealerships till January 2009. Hopefully fingers crossed, a demo unit will show up sometime in November or December, but U.S. production cars won't be available for sale until January. I did pick up a little booklet but its nothing special, just lists some options and has a few pictures.

The original on-sale date was already January. You mean the demos are delayed?

Yeah, when I talked to him back in February he said they would have a demo unit in sometime late summer early fall. Now he claims Benz sent out a memo saying that the demo units wouldn't be on lots till late November/December. Guess thats really only a few months, but I would like to look at one and drive one before I would place an order for one, not to mention from that point it would take the usual six months to fill the order. I plan on waiting for either a late 2009 build or a second model year 2010 model anyways.
