Do a search; there are a few fairly detailed threads on RVC installation.

[EDIT] Oh no, the dreaded second page!!!

The search function works very well. If you search for 'camera' under GLK--Class (X204) you will find this thread that I provided to my installer.

I prefer keeping my eyes level and on the road around me. That's why I wish our back-up camera system was incorporated into the rear-v mirror. Some companies keep it there for good reason, so you can still see peripherally as the vehicle is backing up. Very cool! How stupid to now have a BU system that will park your car, or guide you in, etc. Turn your freaking head lazy bums. These BU cameras were and are meant for one thing, to see if the dog, cat or some other poor creature is under the bumper. If the coast is clear, it's time to TURN YOUR HEAD AROUND.
I beg to differ... Should you happen to use a trailer often enough, a backup camera is a godsend! With camera, just backup even with the tongue, get out and lower onto hitch ball. The 'old' way is backup, get out to check, backup again, get out to check.... you get the message! Cameras can be great, but I do agree to turn your head as well!
