MB Car insurance in US - anybody inquired?

So MB sent this car insurance advertisement. Has anybody had experience with it or inquired? I’m guessing it’s going to be overpriced since it’s aimed at richer MB owners. Also some coverage seemed BS, like towing which you already get with MB ownership. Any other comments or experiences? I switched from Geico to progressive and saved bunch of money, but it’s still 1600 per year in NJ.

MB Insurance

I called, but the price was more than $400 higher per year than I'm currently paying with Mercury.

WOW I pay $1460 per year for 2 cars with Geico. Must have something to do with driving record or age.

Insurance for two cars is not much more than for one. So you are paying about the same.

I just turned 25 recently, so hopefully next 6 month will be cheaper.

You should call for a discount and tell them you just turned 25.

I received a discount in middle of my 6 month policy when I turned 25.

Insurance rates vary by region, multiple drivers and their age, your age, multiple policy discounts, driving record, claims history, number of non family drivers, residence, zip code, miles driven per year, factory installed antitheft devices and accident avoidance options, etc etc etc etc........................... So it’s hard to really compare.

you are forgetting about a lot of other variables. 2 very important ones are location and credit score.

All of that and also the coverage itself. One person's "full coverage" isn't even the same as someone else's "full coverage." All "full coverage" means is that you have liability, collision and comp. It does not indicate what coverage limits you have or what your deductibles are. Everything else being equal, someone who's only insured for $25k or $50k (which meet most state minimums) and has a $1,000+ deductible is naturally going to pay less than someone who's insured for a million dollars and has very low or no deductibles even though they both have "full coverage."

There are also add-ons like roadside, rentals, trip interruption, etc. that don't cost that much relatively speaking but do add to the bottom line if you have these coverages.
