Wing Mirror Glass Removal

I have a 2013 GLK and need to remove the wing mirror glass on both sides.

Does anyone have pics or video to show how this is done.

Thanks

Hmm, are you talking about the side mirrors on the doors??? If so, use the motors to tilt them upwards, so you can grasp the bottoms of the glass. Slip your fingers in behind as much as possible and give a good yank/pull. Once released, undo the wiring connectors for defrost & night shading. Reverse the process to fit back in. Try to give it a solid yank, so the glass doesn't break.... Do not PRY with a screwdriver. Are you installing 'Euro' mirrors? I love mine... no more blind spots!

I managed to get the EURO mirrors from a member in Germany who was kind enough to send them to me.

I will try and yank them out today and let you know how it goes.

Thanks for the method.

Installed the mirrors today and yes you have to give the glass a good tug for the pins to come loose.

Once again thanks for the info and happy motoring.

Glad things worked out. Enjoy your Euro mirrors. They take a bit to get use to, but I love mine now... quick glance and you have real confidence in your next move!!!
