2014 250BT glk issues...
Picked up from the dealership a few days ago no problems on the first and second day. Then we got a Pre safe and distronic is unavailable message. We stopped at a dealership in Calgary but they found nothing wrong.They washed the car and then the Parktronic indicators (Front right bumper) started acting up we wiped off the sensors and it did seem to get better. Yesterday when driving home the Distronic would all of a sudden kick out and we would get the "Distronic is currently unavailable" message along with the "presafe is unavailable"message and both indicators in the mirrors would light up. This would happen at random times sometimes when using the cruise control and other times without cruise control activated. This happened about 8-10 times yesterday. has anyone heard of this before???

Yes - if sensors become blocked/dirty then system properly shows you that that particular system has gone off-line.
The other "issue" that can come up is defective sensors, which would require replacement under warranty.

hey CW, any way you can park in a heated garage for a night? it might just be all the snow you guys have been getting + the carwash that formed ice etc screwing with the sensors. I know my parktronic goes all weird during snow storms etc until it has time to fully melt away off the car. good luck and hope all works out!
