My New Toy
Hey everyone,
I've always liked the Fiat500s and thought of how cute they are and that i really want to own one. A week ago i got an amazing offer one a brand new Fiat500 (Lounge) red on red, i got it two days ago and i have been driving it ever since. Its a "good" car for its price and the interior is amazing with red leather and red dash and so on. It fits 2 adults and 3 teenagers in the back and that blew my mind away! I love it and its so easy to find a park for its size. And ofcourse the first thing i do is tint the car lol.

For those of us that grew up in the 50's and 60's, the Fiat 500 and Fiat 600 brings back memories of a 500 cc and 600cc rear engine piece of scrap metal with suicide doors and sloppy gear boxes. Hard to believe that the modern 500 is any relation. I think they weighed about 1000 pounds and 4 football players could move them into the school hall. That is if the bumper didn't break off.
Fiat did make an Abarth Zagato double bubble back in '58 based on the 750 which was a real blast because it was so light. Weighing in at 1250# and being so small it scared the pants off anyone driving it.
Have fun

My SLK55 AMG and Fiat X1/9
OK, you Fiat enthusiasts. Here's a photo of my recent rides. I bought the Fiat X1/9 new in 1974 and owned it until about 2 years ago -- neon green and orange interior -- perfect for 1974! Purchased for $4200, sold for $4300 after 38 years!
I upgraded the stock 1.2L and 4-speed with the massive 1.5L and 5-speed in '82. I sold the neon "costume" with the Fiat. (Also replaced the SLK55 with a CLS550 and SL500.)

(Please don't take offense -- I loved my Italian X1/9 and also owned a rust-free MGB.)
