Tint Whitworth part of tail lights
Moderator please edit the thread title, I obviously messed up the title while typing on my phone. Thanks.
I wanted a slight tint of the white part of the tail lights, not smoke but more of the newer benz look. I use model master transparent window tint that is typically used for model toys. I have been using this spray for years with great results, you can control how dark it gets by how many layers you apply. I am pleased with the results https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...73f9be14e0.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...8acca02056.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...5fec69ad20.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...5f000e6a0e.jpg |

How would it work on chrome, could you shade it darker and make it look like a darkened chrome? is it durable?
|
I guess you can try it would work on chrome, sort of like the black chrome look I guess. I did try it on a metallic silver based that I brushed to make it look like steel and then sprayed this over, it looks pretty good.
I have been using this stuff for well over a decade on all sorts of cars and motorcycle, it has held up great for years until I sold he car/motorcycle |

Look at vinyl wrap, they make a black chrome wrap that might fit your needs.
