2010 GLK350 Fuel Gauge Problem
Hello,
This may sound like a question that has already been asked on this forum, but I could not find an answer to help with my situation.
I have a 2010 GLK350 4MATIC that for no apparent reason the fuel gauge dropped to less than 1/4 of the tank and minutes later all the way to 0.
Is there a way to reset the gauge? Does the reset help?
Any advice on how to fix the problem would be most appreciated.
Thanks.

Well, since no one has replied to this post I thought I would update with new information so at least that would be helpful to others, so here it is:
After a couple of topping off the gas tank, the fuel gauge suddenly started working again. I am unable to really provide a real reason as why it started working again, must have been a fluke. Anyway, the moral of the story is if a problem like this happens to your car, give it a little bit time before rushing it to a dealer or repair shop. However, please be advised that you would need to keep track of your gas volume so you would not get stranded and be inconvenienced or perhaps unsafe.

GLK350 & B200
Same thing
Exactly same thing happened to me but after filling a few times it still sits firmly at “E”
Looks like the sender unit is under the rear seats. How easy is it to get to? And how do I know which sender unit is the culprit? If I can get it out I may try to open it up and thoroughly clean it. Any advice?
