Window switch replacement Glk 2014
Hi.
On my Glk350 2014 the window button paint is peeling
I am trying to change the passenger side window switch.
I tried to pry the switch out but it doesn’t seem to budge. Can’t seem to find instructions on how to do this.
Is it possible to change it without removing the door panel?
thanks

Thanks. This is true for model years 2013 and before. I was told by parts dealer for 2014 and newer need to replace the entire switch module.
Are you saying pulling the button out will work on 2014?

Window switch
On my wife’s 2013 GLK the driver side window switch module started doing the same thing as yours, the paint started pealing. The whole module had to be replaced. I had removed the door panel. You can’t remove the switch module by prying on it. There’s some kind of square ring with screws that holds the switch module in place. You need to remove the screws in order to replace the switch module. I would think the same kind of securement is on the other switch modules. There’s videos on YouTube on how to remove the door panels. After you got that done the job is pretty simple.
