I got impatient and just ordered a whole black center console for the ash tray. Got it used in 2 days from Germany.
You needs to activate the engineering mode to switch between the clocks.

Same petrol V6, rear axle drive. I actually bought it in November, have not posted anything about it until now. 29,900 miles on the odometer. Its optioned quite differently than my old one.
As for the old 89,600 mileage 2013 I recently sold it locally for $13,500. I didnt see the point of additional registration, insurance, maintenance, fuel, & garage space for identical cars.
There are so many little things different between the 2013 versus 2015 you wouldn’t notice unless you owned both for a while. Some quick things are:
-Instrument cluster
-power outlets
-Radio Infotainment
-Rear armrest
-VIN spot

I already did quite a bit of mods:
This is an original facelift E-Class seat switch block (A2129050351 + A2129050251). I didn't want to mess around with the chinese replicas, so these had to have the door panel off to install.
Nearly everything has been converted to LED from Philips in 4000K.
Can't forget about the ash tray delete, I kept that on my new car. I am going to keep posting my new car on my old thread to consolidate everything together.

Test fit of my new brake rotors and calipers. Hit a very minor bracket depth fitment issue that will be remedied with washers. Almost didn't clear my 20" wheel spoke but the 19" cleared with tons of room.

Man, that looks so damn good. I wish i have the money to run 20inch tire. I just cannot justify to spent 2,000 on tire

I still haven't decided on the rears rotors yet, a choice between ⌀330mm or ⌀360mm rotors. I am for certain getting them professionally powder coated but also have not decided on a color. I really want to do discrete black without AMG or Brembo logos.

So I ended up getting the rear calipers designed for ⌀360mm rotors. This is a full tear down for powder coating, I decided on a light gloss black (Brembo doesn't recommend powder coating at all, but I assessed the risks/difficulties involved and decided I wanted the invulnerability to brake fluid).
Also you might be asking why didn't I buy matching calipers? Well that is because the larger rear caliper only comes in dark grey, red, bronze orange. Light grey is no longer offered for the bigger calipers, although they are utilized in junior AMGs like the GLC43 or E43. The front I wanted the twin bleeders instead of the later simplified single bleeder; in addition I liked the bracket on the older C219 caliper despite having to use a big washer.
I might be doing a vented piston setup, but it is quite costly at $500 USD for the fronts. The bridgepipe might also get replaced by an unpainted Brembo GT-s or GT-R caliper bridgepipe.
I am hoping to get everything installed by the end of March. Nearly all the parts are here; just gotta schedule time to do it and customize some parts.

With doing the big brake kit, do you think you will find much improvement in the braking? (I'm coming from a 2010 A4 with a Big Brake kit on all four corners with 15" front rotors), so I find that the braking is lacking in this … But then again, I've only had this for 2 days.

With doing the big brake kit, do you think you will find much improvement in the braking? (I'm coming from a 2010 A4 with a Big Brake kit on all four corners with 15" front rotors), so I find that the braking is lacking in this … But then again, I've only had this for 2 days.

Now about braking performance, it is a system of many different things working together. The tyres are always more important than the caliper or rotors. So I have fresh new all-season tyres, so my braking distance would be reduced if I used sticky summer/performance tires. I personally don't care about the performance; I am doing this brake change for the looks and ease of maintenance.
Then you have the pads, that is the next most important item. There is no such thing as a perfect pad, a pad that bites hard will be very dusty or noisy. I am going to be using the factory equipped pads and they are quite dusty. Anyone doing a brake change should focus spending the most money on front pads and tyres.
