GLK350 Driver's seat and memory stopped working
2013 GLk 350
Happened once before, the Driver's seat wouldn't move. Memory buttons don't do anything either.
Last time it happened a few months ago, I removed the fuse and it started working again.
I still have some extended warranty left, so thinking maybe I should bring it in while its still failing.
Although, I'll be annoyed if they just pull power from the battery and say. "look we fixed it!".
Anyone else have this issue?

i think its a loose connector, when you open and close the door it moves the contact. Do the door buttons light up? I think you should take it in for service.

I checked under the seat and nothing looked loose. I think its the seat controller, but without it happening they aren't gong to fix it. I'll take a video next time.
The lights on the door controls work when this happens. The mirror control, lock/unlock and windows work. Just the seat won't move and the memory buttons don't work.
Also, last time this happened, removing/reinstalling the seat fuses caused it to start working again.

Just going to ask an obvious question - you aren't driving when the controls stop working, are you? In my 2015, the controls don't work if moving. They work in Drive at a stop, but after a certain MPH, the seat doesn't respond.

Mine stopped working as well.
2015 GLK 350 4Matic drivers seat up and stopped as well today. Steering wheel adjustment too. I used to be able to adjust the seat while driving, at any speed, but now, nothing.
Q: do you reseat the 1-3 fuses while the car is on/running or while the ignition is off? 1-3 look fine, removed while the engine/car was off. The only thing different is I washed the car yesterday. Nothing overly zealous, just a basic, exterior hand wash. Cause, perhaps? But how? Have an extended warranty till 3/2023 so I will take it in if the problem persists.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Sounds like the work of mischievous electrical gremlins, likely caused by intermittent SAM issues like water ingress. I know my GLK exhibits these if I leave it parked outside during a deluge. Blind Spot Assist may not work, the turn signals may not work, the steering wheel adjuster may not work. Typically resets itself after a shut down.
Read up on SAM faults, I believe this is where most of the annoying electrical problems stem from.

Since I started this thread I guess I'll follow up 2 years later. I had unplugged and plugged back in the seat controller wiring harness under my driver's seat. It didn't look loose but I thought I would give it a try. Haven't had an issue in 2 years.
