Blower Fan Still Not Working After Replacement Motor
Hi All-
Recently purchased a 2010 GLK 350 for my wife, 70K miles, and already had my first problem within month one. The cabin fan stopped blowing all of a sudden, but is still receiving power. So far this is what i've done to trouble shoot it:
1) tested the blower regulator with a multimeter & confirmed power was getting to it. Wasn't able to actually pull it up, was in pretty tight but didn't spend a whole lot of time trying.
2) tested the blower motor with a multimeter & confirmed power was getting to it.
3) removed blower regulator and confirmed power was no longer getting to the ac/heater controls in the dash
At this point, i figured the blower motor is bad and needs replacement.
3) Ordered new blower & after hooking it up still didn't do the trick. The original fan was in pretty good shape, nothing jamming up the fan.
This is my first MB so i'm not too familiar with these cars..I tried looking in both the front and rear fuse boxes for a fuse or relay but to my surprise I didn't find any on the diagrams.
Appreciate the help and any suggestions on further troubleshooting.

Out Of Control!!
It's a very simple circuit----AC controller---resistor---fan motor-------whats faulty and did you use XDOS to test the AC system before pissing away the fan motor money!

What is an XDOS?
I believe both the fan blower motor and resistor are good. I'm getting power to both.
Do you know of another test for the resistor? So far i tested the wiring harness and the resistor is getting power. if i disconnect the wiring harness, the ac / heater controls on the dash board turn off.

Blower Motor Problem
I'm having the same problem with my 2012 GLK350. The mechanic replaced the blower motor and resistor with no results. Hot wiring the blower motor shows good results so the focus has been on the resistor. It was an after market resistor so the company was kind enough to take it back and send another one. Same results, blower not working. Is it possible to test the resistor? I hate to take into the Mercedes dealership, UGH

Probably a corroded connector to the main controller or to the temp controll system. Did the inside of the vehicle get wet in the past? This car did not come from Texas or that area. I heard that many flooded vehicles were sent from Texas to NJ. Not only Mercs but all sorts because of the last winter floods.
