Comand console went black

Comand console went black
2013 GLK 350 in the US. Started the car and the in-dash comand screen won’t turn on. Tried the power button. Happened in the past and I recall a reset sequence with the key fob, but I can’t find those instructions. Any suggestions? Or instructions on a soft reboot?

I had this problem with a 2010 about once a year. It was a bad boot of the command system. The command system is booted when you open the door with or with out the key. SO you need to turn off the car, exit, close the doors and wait at least 5-10 minutes for the vehicle to power down. After 5-10 minutes the command will do a total reboot when you open the door and things worked. At least in my 2010.
