2015 GLK bluetec Nav/GPS/System upgrade

Just bought a used 2015 GLK bluetec. Stoked because they're not easy to find. But the one I found w 32K miles is as bare bones as it gets.
I want to upgrade the Nav(nonexistent in this car)/System to add a back up camera.
Found some interesting links searching thru the posts but some of them look like scams.
1) What are the best upgrades overall for this vehicle?
2) What is the best Nav/System upgrade for the vehicle (if it keeps factory settings that would be a plus)
3) Is it worth it to just go to the dealer for an upgrade?
4) Can you do the work yourself? or do mechanics do this kind of work and I just buy the system I want?
Kind of a newb to all things for car modifications.
Any help would be appreciated.

Surprised you found one without the premium one package. Most GLK250s in the USA and Canada I see are highly optioned with the Bi-xenon headlights and driver's assistance package.

It will be a ton of work to do an aftermarket install yourself. You gotta take apart the tailgate liner, wiring it from the back of the car to the center. To get the dealer to do it will be between $1700 to $2000 USD for something factory.looking.

Go find some car audio workshops near you, they install aftermarket back up camera kits all the time.

This is well discussed, use search on this board. Someone had an article on putting in a large screen system which looked way better than the MB unit.

congrats on the 250. one advice, learn how to refill the DEF yourself. If you buy the small gallon refill bottle with the special cap, you can cut the top so you can twist and refill yourself. Its as easy as filling-up if you have this bottle. The hardest part will be figuring out how to remove the trunk liner to access the DEF cap
