does anyone know anything about capacitor?
trying to replace the shaft of the comand scroll knob, accidentally damaged a capacitor on the circuit board, now the infotainment system has no response all, i think replace and weld a new capacitor might able to solve the problem. the printing on the capacitor is Y1 47 35v, does it mean any 47uf 35v capacitor could replace it? I don't know how to weld, gonna watch some youtube videos. Hopefully I could make it work, otherwise need to pay hundreds for a new comand knob.

Go here, select Aluminum electrolytic, 47 microfarad, 35 volt, put in the dimensions of the one you damaged, pick the widest temperature rating, best life, etc.
Y1 refers to the safety rating and involves the failure mode of the design, it's not really relevant here.

Looks like you may have to fix up some of the traces on the board.
If you're not comfortable with PCB component replacement, you should take this to an electronics shop.
Good luck!
