Powered Rear Hatch Won’t Stay Open

Hatch opens fine, then closes a few inches before finalyl slamming shut. Is it safe to assume the struts need to be replaced or could it be the motor? Any idea where to get the parts online for DIY install? Thanks in advance.

I get most OEM stuff at FCP Euro. Let us know if replacing the struts helps.
Here are the struts...seems like a cheap fix to try first.

On my 2011 lexus those were going. However, on 2010 GLK lift gate still works fine.
