As a previous person posted, many wheel/tire shops don't have the appropriate tools/setup to properly check and align MBs.
Unless your suspension components are severely worn or just mangled, there should be no additional hardware or components needed to get all 4 wheels to spec settings. The dealer has everything you need, and while I avoid them like the plague for most things, for this service is one thing I'd let them do probably once a year or after getting a new set of tires.

The special tool hooks up to the little holes in the OEM wheels near the wheel lugs..
