I am getting an Auxillary Battery Malfunction message. Battery has probably gone bad, its 5+ yrs old. I want to replace, but CAN'T FIND IT! Help. Its not in back on the passenger side, I checked. Where else can I look?

It's at the back cargo area by the passenger side. You need to remove the plastic covers with some socket tools.

10 minute job. I ordered a Bosch replacement online and it was someone. 10mm socket is all that is required. Watch video on YouTube.

I have been searching youtube for a video on a GLK250 but no luck. can you send me the link?

I do not have a link for the GLK250. Likely the same battery except for where it is located. I have a 2015 e350 and battery was in trunk by spare tire.

I'm pretty sure the GLK 250 does not have an auxilliary battery. Those were needed (and thus installed) only on gasser models that have the automatic Stop/Start feature, which as far as I'm aware, the Bluetec does not utilize.

The only thing you'll see in the trunk under that liner is the DEF tank filler and subwoofer for the the HarmanKardon sound system, if equipped. We (in the U.S.) also have no spare tire, because the DEF tank takes up that space. Instead MB put "run-flat" tires on GLK250s.

You might just be needing a new main battery, if you're on the original 2014 one.

The auxiliary battery is for gas engine stop start mode. If you don’t have Stop Start get your regular battery tested.

Auxiliary battery has nothing do wit Bluetec. There is a video on YouTube with a Bluetec changing his auxiliary battery.
