Transmission filter size
I can't fathom paying over $100 for the adapter that can flush the remaining fluid out of the torque converter I want to 3D print the part since I won't need to do that flush for a long time. If anyone knows or has successfully attempted this I would be so grateful if you could share it.
Thank you so much!

i have a 2013 GLK350 and Ihave performed a transmission flush and filter replacement three times on my GLK. I have chosen to flush the fluid more frequently and not change the fluid in the torque converter. I use the high quality fluid and new stretch bolts. The Schwaben pressure reservoir with shut off valve is a critical tool. Also, it’s most valuable to have a laser thermometer to measure the bottom of the transmission pan. It is also critical to measure the amount of fluid you remove so you ensure you out back at least that much. If you can do this job on a lift it is much easier than working on jack stands given the work with filling the reservoir and unscrewing the fill line and putting the drain plug back in.
IR thermometers that I’ve seen are no better than 3 degrees + - in accuracy and you are supposed to use the internal thermometer and read it from the data port,
